The developers of the Reloxin product are in talks with the United States Food and Drug Administration about the release of their treatment. The treatment of Reloxin is similar to Botox,  and helps to smooth lines on the face and reduce wrinkles.

The delay comes about as the FDA is reviewing the drug and  discussing the possible risks with the manufacturer.

Reloxin is set to rival Botox.  Estimates suggest that it will be less expensive than Botox, and could be used as a viable alternative in many treatments.
