An alert has been issued for Botox being sold on eBay.  It has come to the attention of many medical professionals that “Do It Yourself” Botox treatment kits were being found on eBay. eBay will remove these type of items if they see them,  but simply because of the size of eBay and other websites that auction items,  these items are still getting out to the public.

Any medical treatment that is “Do It Yourself” should be considered highly suspicious.  Because Botox has to be administered by a trained professional,  these kits are also illegal.  Botox, like any other medical treatment,  can be dangerous if not properly administered.
