The month of October is the national Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  The American Cancer Society utilizes this month with many other organizations all across the United States in order to raise awareness about the issue of breast cancer for both male and females.

Many events are going on across the United States including runs,  lectures, free screenings, and other activities to raise awareness.  Further,  this month is expected to generate a large amount of donations that will be utilized to help develop and research a cure.  Find an activity in your area and get involved for a cure.
